The Austrian Development Agency
The Austrian Development Agency finances CSSP-Workshops in Kosovo and in fyro-Macedonia in a total amount of € 211.000. The ADA is the operational unit of the Austrian Development Cooperation and Cooperation with Eastern Europe (ADC). The ADA is responsible for the implementation of all bilateral programs and projects in the ADC partner countries and administrates the corresponding budget.
Its working basis is the Three-Year Programs on Austrian Development Policy, which is elaborated by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. It defines the central position of the Austrian development policy and the strategic framework conditions of the ADC. This programme is based on the new Development Cooperation Act, in which sustainable economic and social development in line with the principle of environmental protection is enshrined as the central goal.
This division of work between the Federal Foreign Office and ADA ensures coherent official development policy as well as efficient implementation of the legal guidelines for Development Cooperation.

Rational Games
Rational Games co-finances the April 2008 workshop with local leaders from Ferizaj / Uroševac and IDPs from Štrpce / Shtërpcë. This training focuses on strengthening gender awareness in the municipal institutions, increase the conflict resolution skills of leaders, and improve inter-ethnic dialogue in order to facilitate return. The total amount of funding received from Rational Games is $8951.80.
