The Team

Kujtim Deari graduated from the Economic Faculty of the University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Macedonia in the field of Management/Cybernetics. He previously worked in Macedonia for international organisations including the OSCE and UNDP. Mr. Deari is fluent in Albanian, Bosnian, Croatian, English, Macedonian, Serbian, and Turkish and lives in Gostivar. He is Mediation Project Coordinator for CSSP’s activities in Macedonia and South Serbia and works with our partner organisations Forum-CSRD.

Johann Julius Goldmann holds a second state-exam in German law with a specialisation in European and International Law. He also received a LL.M. in International Law with International Relations from the University of Kent at Brussels. He previously worked for the United Nation’s Mediation Support Unit (MSU), as a research assistant at the Center for European Integration Studies (ZEI) in Bonn, and in various law firms. Mr. Goldmann joined the CSSP team in September 2006 and is responsible as Mediation Project Manager for Integrative Mediation processes in Macedonia and Serbia. Furthermore he functions as CSSP’s legal adviser.

Bekim Ismaili will graduate from the University of Economy - Management and Informatics in summer 2009. He holds a diploma from the IBM University – WIFI - Vienna: Know-How - Project Management, Business Process Optimization and Conflict Management, and graduated from the College of Machinery in Mitrovicë / Mitrovica in 1988. Mr. Ismaili worked with the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) and was Head of Translation for the Office of the Auditor General of Kosovo. He lives with his family in Mitrovicë / Mitrovica and is fluent in Albanian, English and Serbian. Mr. Ismaili is Mediation Project Coordinator for CSSP’s activities in Kosovo and works out of the CSSP Kosovo coordination office.

Jusuf Hadziselimovic holds a diploma in Economics from the Freie Universität in Berlin with a central focus on business psychology and production management. He studied and lived for several years in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Germany. In January 2008 he joined the CSSP Team and is responsible for administration and finances. During his Studies he worked as Project-Manager for different art exhibitions in Berlin. He speaks English, German, Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian.

Christoph Lüttmann studied political science and public law in Berlin and Bologna and holds a university degree from the Freie Universität Berlin where he focussed on conflict prevention and post-conflict peacebuilding. Mr. Lüttmann previously worked for a Swiss NGO for Refugees, the United Nations Secretariat, the Research Center 700 on governance in limited statehood and the Center for International Peace Operations (ZIF). He joined CSSP in April 2009 as a Mediation Project Manager and coordinates SEEMF.

Brigitta von Messling received her MA and MPhil degrees in Conflict Resolution from the Peace Studies Department of the University of Bradford, and has a BA degree in International Studies from Rhodes College. She also completed 200hrs of training to be certified as a mediator in Germany. Ms. von Messling is a Rotary World Peace Fellow and has previously worked in New York City, Guatemala, and Colombia. She joined the CSSP team in November 2006 and as Mediation Project Manager is responsible for Integrative Mediation processes in Kosovo and further mediation related activities. Furthermore she oversees the CSSP field staff.

Javor Pobrić has worked with the OSCE since 1996. He worked as logistics officer for the International Mediator for Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1997 to 2004. Mr. Pobrić is the Security and Logistics Officer of CSSP since its establishment in 2005.  He is located in Sarajevo.
